DOCTOR'S ORDERS......Your Daily Prescription

THE FOLLOWING PRESCRIPTION WILL HELP YOU TO LIVE A MEANINGFUL, HAPPY, CONSISTENT CHRISTIAN LIFE, NOT A SPORADIC FANATICAL IMITATION. Proverbs 11:13

Keep your mind from wandering down negative paths. They'll take you to places you don't want to go.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

If you're not careful, the urgent will drown out the important.

Set goals for your life and stay on track. Without them life will run away from you.

Be honest, do not lie, cheat or steal ~ make your word your bond.

Practice helping those who are in need.

Show respect for authority: parents, teachers, ministers, police and governmental authorities.

Let your converation always be uplifting, never gossip, forgive and do not hold a grudge.

Make church attendance a top priority; it corrects your perspective on life, keeps you sensitive to your Heavenly Father and on the right path.

Do not shortchange your devotional time with the Lord, this is where your strength, wisdom and battle plan is born. Teach this to your children.

You'll be known by the company you keep.

Be tolerant of others' beliefs, learn the "essentials diagram" and keep it in mind.

Express honor, love and respect for your family. God promises long life if you do.

Make a commitment to continue learning throughout your life.

Don't blame anyone else for the position you're in today.

Make your own way in life.

Don't allow public opinion to sway the standards that you live by.

Prioritize your life, set your own boundaries and schedule.

Be a person of your word.

Pay your debts on time.

Respect the environment, we are only caretakers. God is the landlord.

Help the suffering and those in need.

Save sex until marriage, and avoid pregnancy until you are ready to become a parent.

Love yourself, shun tobacco, alcohol, drugs and wild living.

Realize that God sees value in everyone, and you can learn something from everyone.

Learn and live by God's laws of Sowing and Reaping.

As you give God releases His blessings so you can give even more.

Celebrate our differences: sex, race, religion, background, appearance, abilities, and disabilities.

Watch your intake: Stay away from greasy, fatty foods, and limit your red meat intake, these can hurt your body. Stay away from criticism, resentment, gossip and jealousy, these will hurt your spirit.

Don't think too highly of yourself; you will be disappointed.

Find an occupation that you enjoy and work diligently at it. If you dislike your occupation, train yourself for one you'll enjoy.

Practice health-control, excercise your mind and body.

Seek Godly knowledge, wisdom and truth.

Spend quality time with your family and listen to them.

Be a good listener, not one always wanting to be heard.

Drink at least 2 quarts of water daily to help cleanse your body. Drink at least 2 chapters of the Word of God each day to purify your living.

Exercise your body each day to develop tone and muscle. Exercise your spiritual gifts and talents each day to develop spiritually and to be used by God.

As you eat healthy foods, exercise your body, get the proper sleep, release stress to the Lord, and you will have a healthy body.

As you practice living a moral life, being a person of your word, and caring for others, you will be known as a person of integrity and good character.

Avoid voilence; practice non-violence.
