Soup Kitchen

Soup Kitchen

We have created a comfortable dining area where the hungry can receive a home cooked, nourishing meal free of charge on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at either the 11:30 a.m. or the 12:15 p.m. serving.

We are a Christian based soup kitchen where the love of Christ flows freely. Anyone in need of a hot lunch is welcome and will be served with joy. The presence of the Lord is obvious in our personnel whether it is our greeters, table attendants, cooks, or servers; everyone is treated with love and respect.

Our Saturday Soup Kitchen distributes 8 - 10,000 lbs. of groceries as well as clothing and household items every week to 200-300 people. This distribution takes place at 11:30 am.

In 2010 we served over 42,000 meals and distributed tons of groceries. These soup kitchens serve rain or shine and since the founding of both food programs we have never missed a serving regardless of weather or of holidays.

If you would like to assist us in our efforts to "feed Saginaw", through cash donations, groceries or "hands on service", please call 249-8696, Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

We are always in need volunteers. For groups please call ahead to reserve a spot.
